Joseph “Joe” Rezendez, age 78, passed away on June 11, 2026, with his family by his side. Joe was born on August 25, 1947, in Los Angeles, California, to Caroline Rubio and Felipe Rezendez.

He worked for McGary and Company in Los Angeles before relocating to Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in 1990. There, he worked for Bemis Manufacturing until his well-earned retirement.

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Nancy, his children: Anthony, Robert, Melissa, and Ryan, eight grandchildren as well as his brother, Philip Rezendez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son Joe Rezendez Jr., his sister Caroline Tapia, and his brothers Henry, Eddie, and Albin Rezendez.

In his leisure time, Joe cherished spending time with family and friends, playing video games, and cheering for his favorite baseball team, the LA Dodgers. He was an avid baseball fan and was an excellent baseball player in his younger years.

Joe was a proud Vietnam veteran, and was honored to have served his country.

The Rezendez family would like to thank Dr. Nick, Dr. Stan, and the wonderful staff at Vince Lombardi Cancer Center, Dr. Michael Barry, Swannie RN from Aurora Health at Home, and the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their care and support.

A private family ceremony will honor and celebrate Joe’s life.
