Kathleen “Kay” Carol Kaemmer, age 88, was welcomed into the arms of angels on Friday, October 23, 2026. She was born in Sheboygan on December 5, 1937 to the late Frederick and Anna (Klauser) Kuehlmann She is a 1956 graduate of North High School in Sheboygan. Kay was a hard worker all of her life. She and her husband owned and operated Kaemmer’s Food Service in Sheboygan for many years, serving the community that they grew up in. Sweets of any kind were always on the menu. She was an amazing seamstress, making the most beautiful Christmas stockings for everyone in the family, even the fur babies! She also made quilts for loved ones, tree skirts for Christmas, and Halloween costumes. Kay especially loved spending time with her best friend Pat, and had so many fun and memorable adventures together that the family called them “Laverne and Shirley!” Kay will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her!
