Mary Ellen Ehaney, age 100, was welcomed into the arms of angels on Monday, June 29, 2026. She was born February 13, 1926 to the late Warren and Lillian (Kohls) Ehaney.

After graduating from Central High School, Mary Ellen was employed at Leverenz Shoe Company as a secretary. She then moved to Charlotte, NC and worked for Allstate Insurance Company as an accounting supervisor. She returned to Sheboygan and was employed at Citizens Bank. Mary Ellen later worked as a secretary at Jefferson School, Rudnick Jewelers in Kohler and Page Jewelers.

Mary Ellen was a member of the National Secretaries Association, St Luke United Methodist Church and belonged to the Rachel Chapter of UMW. After retiring, Mary Ellen enjoyed working at Grant School with first and second grade readers and was a docent at Heritage School.

Mary Ellen was a talented artist and enjoyed painting with watercolors along with other artwork. She was also an avid reader. Mary Ellen will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Mary Ellen was a loving Aunt to Patricia Ehaney, Mike (Ann) Ehaney, Christina (Eric) Demmith, Tim (Laurie) Berry and Scott (Janet) Berry. She is further survived by her grand nieces and nephews Kristen, Kaitlyn, Anneliese, Drew (Lauren), Allison, Jaclyn (Reid) and Camden; and her great-grand nieces and nephews Micah, Harper and Finn.

In addition to her parents, Mary Ellen is preceded in death by her sister Patricia Berry, brother Charles Ehaney, and nephew Thomas Ehaney.

Mary Ellen will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in a private ceremony.
