Nancy A. Nonnweiler, 83, of Sheboygan, passed away on August 5, 2026 at home with her husband by her side. She was born on January 18, 1943 to the late Andrew and Stella (Sanders) Skirnick.
She graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago, IL. After high school, she obtained her cosmetology license. Nancy retired from Plymouth High School after a lengthy career as an administrative assistant.
Nancy was a kind and compassionate woman who found joy in life’s simple pleasures. She shared a loving relationship with her husband, John, and they had just celebrated 35 wonderful years of marriage together. Their life was centered on family, friendship, and making cherished memories. She was a devoted animal lover and proudly supported the Humane Society. She enjoyed painting inspirational rocks for the Green Bay Cancer Clinic, bowling, dressing up for special occasions, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers. She looked forward to her casino trips and treasured the friendships she made through her coffee group and her involvement with Al-Anon.
Above all, Nancy was proud of her family. She cherished every opportunity to spend time with them, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and were one of the greatest blessings in her life. She will be remembered for her caring heart, her love of friends and family, and the warmth, kindness, and laughter she shared with everyone who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her husband John Nonnweiler; son, Rich (Melissa) Kluth; four grandchildren, Griffin, Hudson, Caden and Stella Kluth; one brother Robert (Maria) Skirnick; sister-in-law, Nancy Skirnick; ex-husband Lester Kluth and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Stella Skirnick; son Michael Kluth; grandson Elias Kluth and in-laws John Sr. and Patricia Nonnweiler.
All services will be private. Nancy will be inurned at Calvary Cemetery, Sheboygan.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Nancy’s memory can be made to Sheboygan Humane Society.
