Obituary

Regina “Bunny” C. Wojtiuk, 69, of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 4, 2026.

Bunny was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and unwavering love for her family. Despite facing many health challenges throughout her life, she met each day with resilience, humor, and a stubborn determination that those who knew her will never forget.

She was born in Chicago, Illinois, grew up in Northbrook and later lived in Sheboygan, WI. She married Mike Wojtiuk and had the blessing of the birth of Madelyne. She loved cooking, helping people and animals, Chicago Bears football, and spending time with her family. She was stubborn but easygoing, stern when she needed to be, yet carried a big heart and had so much love to give. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Madelyne, and a proud grandmother to her three grandchildren — Bryce, Payton, and Wyatt — who were the light of her life. She was also the best animal mom to her many pets!

Bunny is survived by her daughter, Maddie (fiancé-Tim Helke); her grandchildren Bryce, Payton, and Wyatt; and her sisters Robin Elliott-Bear (Greg) and Roxanne Elliott-Crandall (Marc), and her loved cat companion Missy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Joan Elliott; her grandparents, Aunts and Uncles and her many pets which she considered family. Bunny’s legacy lives on in the love she gave, the memories she created, and the quiet strength she carried through every chapter of her life.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Milwaukee, WI., 2500 N. Mayfair Road from 12:00 pm-2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a local autism support organization or a nearby animal shelter, causes that reflect Bunny’s compassion and the values she held close.
