Roy Uhl, age 94, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at the Shores of Sheboygan.

He was born in Sheboygan on June 27, 1932, to the late Clarence and Helen (Larson) Uhl. Roy attended local schools. He was employed at Fulton Manufacturing in West Allis for over 30 years. He relocated to Sheboygan to be closer to his family. Roy was then employed at Piggly Wiggly, until his retirement. In addition to his daily duties at the Pig, he thoroughly enjoyed being Santa during the holiday seasons. Roy attended St. Paul’s UCC in Sheboygan.

Roy enjoyed woodworking, drawing, gardening, spending time with his furry companions and watching the Milwaukee Brewers. He also was a car enthusiast, proudly owning over 100 cars within his lifetime. Recently, Roy had developed a passion for Bingo.

Roy is survived by his brother, Leon Uhl; nieces and nephews, Gary (Joann) Strysick, Kathleen (Gary) Leonhardt, Faith (Bruce) Neils, Harve (Kim) Strysick and Chris (Paul) Ruehr; special friend, Steve Karle and other relatives and friends.

Along with his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his sisters, Julia Barry and Donna Strysick.

Services for Roy at St. Paul’s UCC are currently pending.

A memorial fund has been established in Roy’s name.

The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Shores of Sheboygan for the excellent care shown to Roy over the last few years. They would especially like to thank his fellow residents for making his time there enjoyable. Also, a great thank you to the staff at Preceptor Home Health & Hospice for their support.
