Obituary

Scott Alan Strysick, 63, was welcomed into the arms of angels on Monday, June 1, 2026. He was born in Sheboygan on June 3, 1962 to the late Charles Jr. and Grace (Knoll) Strysick. He was a 1980 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On September 1, 2000, he married the love of his life, Ann Reinthaler, at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas. Together they raised a daughter, Shannon.

Scott was a hard worker all of his life. He was a forklift driver for Sheboygan Waste & Recycling and Rockline Industries. Later in life, he worked as a maintenance worker at City Bakery until his retirement. He enjoyed the simple things in life, spending time outdoors, hunting and fishing with friends and family. He loved relaxing on his patio, grilling on his many (yes, there were multiple) grills and making food for his friends and family, listening to his classic rock music and just enjoying the Wisconsin weather. Scott will be deeply missed by all who knew him. When you are eating a brat on a Sheboygan Hard Roll (preferably from Brockman’s Meat Market), catching a big fish in a local Wisconsin lake, or hear an Ozzy Osbourne song, think of Scott and smile.

The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice and the fourth-floor staff at St. Nicholas Hospital in Sheboygan for taking such good care of Scott. Their warmth and compassion will not be forgotten.

Scott is survived by his wife of nearly 26 years, Ann, and his children: Tony (fiancé Mary) Stevens, and Shannon (fiancé Mike Bernier) Strysick; his grandchildren Shania, Khloe, Bailee, Cora, Zane and Raiden; his brothers Charles III (Zondra) Strysick, Kim Strysick, and his twin brother Jim (Linda) Strysick. He is further survived by other extended family members and good friends.

A memorial service will be held in Scott’s honor on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., with Pastor Joe Zenk officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Burial will be private.

Memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Scott’s honor.
