Shirley Ann Kaminsky, age 95, formerly of Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at Pine Haven Christian Communities of Oostburg. Shirley was born March 2, 1931 in Kiel, Wisconsin to Hugo and Viola (Rautman) Winkel. On September 7, 1957, Shirley was united in marriage to LeRoy Kaminsky at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

Shirley was a self-employed custom window treatment seamstress for 25 years, retired in 1993. She continued sewing many, many quilts for children and grandchildren. In her later years, she did many paint by number painting. She also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends. She was a devoted member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls. She was a loving mom, grandma and great-grandma.

Shirley is survived by her daughters: Regina (Mark) Hinz and Brenda (Bill) Samse; grandchildren Kristy Nischik, Lisa (Chris) Schmidt, Jack Stroessner, Ryan Stroessner, Derek (fiancé Amber) Stroessner, and Brad Stroessner; and great-grandchildren Zecheriah, Emmett, Liam, Alexia, Gabrielle, Trinity, and Brantley; sister-in-law Mary Winkel, and brother-in-law Bill Froh. She is further survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by her husband LeRoy, who passed in April 2005, and her siblings Grace Hemschmeyer, Elaine Fiedler, June Froh, and Frederick Winkel.

Per family wishes, cremation has taken place and burial will be private.

The family extends their gratitude to the staff at Pine Haven in Oostburg and the entire staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice, especially Calista, who cared very deeply. Their concern and compassion for Shirley and her family will not be forgotten.
