Beatrice "Beatie" Bourret

June 16, 1932 — April 30, 2021

Beatrice “Beatie” A. Bourret, 88, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Friday, April 30, 2021.  She was born June 16, 1932 in Sheboygan to the late Gillis and Angeline (VerVelde) Kaat.  On February 13, 1954 she was united in marriage to Roger Bourret.  He preceded her in death on July 31, 1996.  They were blessed with four children: Randy, Sherri (Pat) Crowns, Lori Nachtwey, and Darci (Mike) Hellauer.

Beatie worked for Luedke’s Meat Market and Kaat’s Furniture.  She had a passion for flower gardening and bird watching.  She loved to sew and make beautiful clothes for her children and grandchildren. Going “bumming” with her kids and grandkids was a favorite pastime of hers. Lately she enjoyed doing her “circling” word search puzzles.

Beatie is further survived by her grandchildren; Nikki (Mike) McCoy, Holly (Kenny) Bester, Karla LaBoy, and Neil Nachtwey, great-grandchildren; Tyler and Sophia McCoy, Riane and Brielle Bester, April and Autumn LaBoy, and Willow Steudel, siblings; LeRoy (Friend Judy) Kaat, Gilbert (Shelly) Kaat, Beverly (Bruce) Teetzen, Kenneth (Colleen) Kaat, and Janice Kaat, sisters-in-law; Jean Kaat, Kelly Kaat, and Nelly Kaat, also by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Randy, grandson Christopher Johnson, brothers; Richard, Gerald, Lloyd and Roger Kaat, and by her sisters-in-law Cookie and Kathy.

A private family service will be held at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. Masks will be required.

Memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Beatie’s name.
