Delano "Del" A. Dohr, 75, of Sheboygan, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Del was born February 13, 1937 in Sheboygan Falls to the late Edmund and Ethel (Wolf) Dohr. He graduated from Brillion High School in 1955. On February 15, 1958, he married the former Judy Kelm at St. Mary's Church in Sheboygan Falls. He was employed by the Kohler Company as a foundry foreman, retiring after 43 years in 1998. Del was a life member of the Sheboygan Elks Lodge and the Kohler Quarter Century Club. He enjoyed fishing with his good friend, Butch Fenske and going up to his sister-in-law's place in Pembine. In addition to his wife, Judy, Del is survived by two daughters, Mitzi (Ken) Grant, Waunakee and Jackie Dohr, Sheboygan; one granddaughter, Sara Grant, Waterloo; three sisters, Darlene (Edward) Geiger, Sheboygan, Yvonne (Walter) Schnur, Sheboygan Falls and Cheryl (Joe) Weiss, LaCrescent, MN; one sister-in-law, Judy Kelm, Sheboygan Falls. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Del was preceded in death by one brother, Jim Dohr, his father and mother-in-law, Edward and Louise Kelm and one brother-in-law, James Kelm. In accordance with Del's wishes, no services will be held, as he has gone fishing. The family would like to extend a special thank you to our neighbors, Paul, Dennis and Deanna, Rolly and Luann. They would also like to thank Dr. Patrick Marsho, Dr. Marshall Matthews and his staff and the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
