Helen Gesch

Helen Gesch died on April 27, 2022.

Helen was the first child born to Walter and Madlain (Rommelfaenger) Gerk on 9/12/23.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene of 70 years, a sister Ruth Geibel and brothers Jerome and Donald Gerk, and a special aunt, Loretta Abromaitis.  Helen attended area schools and graduated from Central High in 1942. In 1944 she married Eugene K. Gesch. Helen was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom.  She is survived by their three children, Marjorie (Jack) Sisk of California, William (Shirley) Gesch of Georgia, Julie (Brad) Anderson of Oregon, four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, sister Georgine Zavrl, and sister-in-law Gloria Gerk, both of Sheboygan.  Helen was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church.

A Memorial Service for Helen will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at St. Mark Church, 1019 N 7th St. in Sheboygan.  The family will greet visitors on Saturday at the church from 1:00 PM until the time of the service.  For those who would like to attend Helen's service virtually can do so on her obituary page on the funeral home website.
