Mark Lamb

May 6, 1951 — May 16, 2021

Mark Allan Lamb, age 70, passed away surrounded by his loving family late Sunday evening, May 16, 2021, at Azura Memory Care in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

Mark was born May 6, 1951, in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to the late Kenneth and Janet (Champeau) Lamb.  After graduating from South High School, Mark joined the Marine Corps, proudly serving his country from April 1971 to March 1976. On September 7, 1974, Mark married Karen Brown in Dillion, South Carolina.

For nearly 45 years, Mark was an over the road truck driver for various companies, including Wisconsin Nationwide Transportation, Beatrice Foods, and Johnsonville Sausage.  Mark received a prestigious award for safely driving over 2 million miles without an accident.  Over the course of his driving career, Mark was able to travel through Mexico, the 48 continental United States, and all the lower provinces of Canada.

Mark was an avid motorcyclist, fisherman, jet skier, hunter, golfer, and played softball on his brothers’ teams. Mark, with several friends and support boats, took his jet ski across Lake Michigan from Sheboygan to Ludington, Michigan and back.  He loved to travel in his motorhome with friends and family to Richmond Raceway twice a year, where he was a season ticket holder to watch NASCAR. He was a dedicated Tony Stewart fan.  He was especially proud of his Ford Taurus SHO, which he lovingly restored and his two Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Mark is survived by his children, Christie (Mitchell) Parker and Franklin (Tracy) Lamb.  He is further survived by his grandchildren, Franklin Denning, Amberlee Light, Cora Parker, Franklin Brian (fiancée Autumn) Lamb II, Matthew Lamb, Isabella Lamb, and his great grandchild, Chloe Light. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Michael (Sue) Lamb, Joell Lamb, Kenneth Thomas (Gwen) Lamb, Kristine J. Lamb, Mary Jo (Alan) Stoelb, Patrick (Julie) Lamb, Joseph (Kristine M.) Lamb, sister-in-law Susan Lamb, close family friend, Jack Huenink, and his beloved companion dog, Noah.  He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mark was preceded in death by his parents and oldest brother, Jerome Lamb.

A visitation will be held Friday, May 21, 2021, from 4 PM to 7 PM at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N. 8th St., Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  A private service will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at St Peter Claver Catholic Church with private graveside service to follow.
