Allen Kovacic

Allen L. Kovacic, of Sheboygan, WI passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice in Sheboygan Falls, WI. He was 85 years old.

Allen was born March 21, 1932 in Sheboygan, WI the son of Cyril and Anna (nee Novshek) Kovacic. He attended St. Peter Claver School, and graduated from Central High School in 1950. He went on to service his country in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He worked for Great Lakes Homes in Sheboygan Falls, WI as a young man. On February 2, 1957 he was united in marriage with Constance Ott at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan, WI. She preceded him in death in 1999.

Allen worked as a materials manager at Kohler General, retiring after 31 years. He was a proud member of the American Legion, and participated on the LTC Advisory Committee. He was a past president of the Sheboygan Traffic Club and was a past treasurer and president of the Parent Organization for the Accents of Sheboygan. He enjoyed deer hunting for most of his life, bowling, and golfing with the Legends at Riverdale.

Allen is survived by his daughter Kim of Sheboygan, WI and was a proud grandpaw to Roxy. He is further survived by 2 sisters-in-law: Ann Kovacic of Sheboygan, WI and Colleen Kovacic of Chilton, WI, nieces and nephews: David (Sandy) Kovacic, Lynn (Don) Mehrtens, Karen (Greg) Noble, Jane Masty, Laurie (Chris) Bonelli, Ruth Anderson and Susan (David) Kress, other relatives and many dear friends. He is preceded in death by his wife Connie and his brothers Robert and Ronald.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 14, 2017 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church, 1444 S. 12th St. in Sheboygan, WI. The family will receive visitors at the church on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Allen will be laid to rest beside Connie at Greendale Cemetery in Sheboygan, WI.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Peter Claver Catholic Church or Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
