Barbara Loessl

Barbara A. Loessl, 81, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at her home.
She was born in Sheboygan, on August 8, 1935 to Chester and Ruth (Bischoff) Bolz. Barb attended Pigeon River Elementary School and graduated from Central High School with the class of 1953. On October 1, 1955, she was united in marriage to Juergen Loessl at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Juergen preceded her in death on October 26, 1989.
Having a strong faith, Barb was a long-time member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for 49 years. Her generosity led her to volunteering at Bethesda, and visiting with shut-ins. Barb was known for her sense of humor and good heart, she was a good friend to so many. Always staying active she enjoyed walking both outdoors in the nice weather and indoors at the mall during the winter months. Barbs love of sports had her cheering for the Packers and Brewers no matter how they were doing.
Barb is survived by her daughter Linda (Steven) Strong, nieces, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother Wayne Bolz, and an Infant sister.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St., Sheboygan, with Pastor Christian Gugel of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will follow at Wildwood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 from 12:30 PM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Barb's name.
