Betty Van De Kreeke

Betty Van De Kreeke, age 89, of Sheboygan went to her Eternal Home on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. Betty was born March 16, 1936 in Sheboygan to the late Abraham and Charlotte (Gies) Grosskopf. She attended Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1954.

On June 16, 1956 Betty and Robert “Bob” Van De Kreeke were united in marriage at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Betty worked at Prange Way and M & I Bank as a teller until her retirement in 1998. She was a faithful and active lifelong member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Van De Kreeke of Waukesha, Mike (Toni) Van De Kreeke of Sheboygan; one daughter, Debbie (Scott) Weber of Howards Grove; six grandchildren, Kristin (Darnell) Wiltz of Waukesha, Kelly (Neil) Rago of San Juan, Puerto Rico/Portage, Indiana, Jason (Lisa) Van De Kreeke of Sheboygan, Brad Van De Kreeke of Appleton, Bryan (Emily) Van De Kreeke of Sheboygan, and Lexi (Luke Clappes) Weber of Plymouth; nine great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Bob Van De Kreeke; her parents; and brother Kenneth Grosskopf.

A Funeral Service for Betty will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St., Sheboygan. Rev. Timothy J. Mech, will officiate. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Gardens of Peace Mausoleum. Visitation will be held at Ballhorn Chapels from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Sharon S. Ricardson Community Hospice.
