Caroline H. Arnoldi

Caroline H. Arnoldi, 79, of Sheboygan, passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Aurora Memorial Medical Center Sheboygan.  She was born October 24, 1943, in Eau Claire to the late Edward and Lillian (Hagen) Hempleman.  On February 13, 1993, she was united in marriage to Donald Arnoldi. 

Caroline was a nurse at the Sheboygan County Hospital.  Having a strong faith, she was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.  Caroline loved working in her flower garden, traveling, playing card games and puzzles. Her family was her pride and joy, she loved spending time with her grandchildren creating lasting memories. Christmas was her favorite holiday, it brought everyone home so she could entertain and spend time with them.  She is going to be missed by her furbaby Bailey, and all who knew and loved her.

Caroline is survived by her husband Donald, children; Scott (Jill) Halida, Randy (Stacy Tegrotenhuis) Halida, Jeff (Connie Felde) Halida, step-daughters; Gina (Keith) Stephan, Angela Shinners, Linda Arnoldi, and Shelly (Daniel Leary) Arnoldi, seventeen grandchildren; Breanna (Sam) Hartmann, Abby and Jackson Halida, Stacy Halida, Paige and Seth Balma, Kyle Halida, Brandon (Haley) Stephan, Dylan (Hannah Brown) Stephan, Ian, Johanna, and Charlotta Shinners, Ethan, Isabella, and Max Gassner, Alexandra and Andrea Nanis-Arnoldi, and Frank and John Leary, great-grandchildren; Brayden, Braxton, and Kalvin Hartmann and Connor, Finley, and Everly Stephan, brother Edward “Sonny” (Donna) Hempleman Jr., and brother-in-law Richard Oldenburg.  She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Caroline was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Halida, infant daughter Tammy Halida, and two sisters, Jean Oldenburg and Nancy (Jim) Dunton.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 2:00PM at Christ Lutheran Church, 3816 S. 12^th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. Christian Gugle officiating. Inurnment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 12:00 NOON until 1:45PM at the CHURCH.  If you are unable to join the family for the service, it will be livestreamed on Caroline’s obituary page on the funeral home website.

In lieu of flower memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church in Caroline’s name.
