Catherine Baumert

Catherine "Cat" "Angel" Baumert, age 67, passed away peacefully to be with her Lord on Monday, October 9, 2017 surrounded by her loved ones. Catherine was born January 31, 1950 to the late Jerome Fenn and Dorothy Fricke. She graduated from Sheboygan South High School in 1968. On May 20, 1972, she married Frank Baumert Jr. Catherine was a compassionate fun-loving Christian who was dedicated to helping others. She was a free-spirited woman whom enjoyed sudoku, puzzles; she loved her kitty Molly, the Game Show Network, card games, chocolate and caffeine free Diet Pepsi. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She loved spending time with her family.

Catherine is survived by her children: Danette M. (Mark Jr) Crandell, Renee M. (Scott) Schmitz, Christine C. (Terry) Toston, Cynthia L. (Randy) Alberts, Eric C. (fiancée Liz) Baumert; 16 grandchildren: Adam, Alisha, Alex, Anthony, Ariel, Kaylene, Jack, Taylor, Scotlin, Jordan, Michael, Rebecca, Emily, Carly, Skylynn, Rylee; 6 great-grandchildren: Niveen, Nahtaly, Ian, Arya, Silas, and Siana. Further survived by her siblings: Jerry (Rhonda) Fenn, Michael (Donna) Fenn, Allan (Patricia) Fenn, Duane Fricke, David Fricke, Sheila Miesfeld and Diane - Annie(Raymond) Larson, and her step-dad, Duane Fricke Sr.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and an infant son.

Family and friends are invited to visit at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th Street, Sheboygan, on Monday, October 16, 2017 from 10 a.m. to 12 NOON. The Memorial Service will follow at Noon. Catherine will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice.
