Clarence Senkbeil

Clarence G. Senkbeil passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at his home in Sheboygan. He was 88 years old.

Clarence was born January 13, 1931 in Sheboygan to Clarence E. and Ursula (nee Pilon) Senkbeil. He graduated from Central High School on June 9, 1949. After graduation, he and 10 buddies joined the US Air Force, leaving Sheboygan on January 1, 1950.

On March 7, 1953, he was united in marriage with Dorothy T. Holfeltz at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Sheboygan.

Clarence worked at local factories doing tool and die work, including Eclipse, Vollrath, Kohler General, Curt G. Joa and Watry Industries.

Clarence enjoyed cooking and candy making. He was proud of the many chocolate turtles he made and gave away to friends and family. He also enjoyed going to the casinos and horse races, being with his family, and spending time at Top Gear Tattoo and Wednesdays at Hopps Haven with the guys.

He is survived by his daughters: Suzanne "Suzie" (Les) Meyer, Joanne "Jo" Senkbeil and Terrianne "Terri" Rush; sons: Scott (Susie) Senkbeil, Steve (Ellen) Senkbeil and Shawn Senkbeil, all of Sheboygan. He is further survived by his grandchildren: Heather (Lukas) Burke, Emy Senkbeil, Ed (Sarah) Rush, Aaron Senkbeil, Adam Senkbeil, Faith Senkbeil and Diane Senkbeil; great-grandchildren: Andy, Kaitlyn and Lyndsey; sister Jenna (Sonny) Krause; brothers-in-law Kenny (Donna) Holfeltz and Michael Holfeltz; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends, especially Billy and Tammy Kaemmer, Paul Vreeke and Bill and Pam Gottsacker.

He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, his parents Clarence and Ursula Senkbeil, parents-in-law William and Sylvia Holfeltz, sisters Marmie (Howie) Filz and Ruth (Fred) Bauer and niece Mary Bauer Mitchell.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30AM on Friday, May 17, 2019 at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 818 Huron Ave. in Sheboygan with Father Matt Widder celebrating. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:30 - 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.

The family would like to thank the staff of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassionate and loving care over the last year, especially Rhonda S., Len H., Angela W., Jim H., Bernie J., Carol W., Deb G., Jackie O. and Jim B. who watched Packer games with Clarence.
