Dale R. Feld

Dale Feld of Sheboygan, WI, who was currently residing at Pine Haven Christian Communities-Haven Campus went home to be with his Heavenly Father on November 28, 2022. Dale was born on January 5, 1957 at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital to Fred G Feld and LaVonne V (Schulz) Feld.

Dale attended local schools and met his wife, Barbara (Schulz) in Bookkeeping class at North High School. They dated for about 4 years and were married at Trinity Lutheran Church on January 29, 1977. Their marriage was blessed with two wonderful sons, Daniel and Jonathan.

Dale started his career in the restaurant business as it was apparently “meant to be” as his grandparents and uncle owned Schulz’s Lunch and his father was the original owner of Charcoal Inn. He worked at Charcoal Inn, The Hoffbrau, and Scenic Bar. He then went on to work at Wigwam Mills as a forklift driver and after receiving his Supervisory Management degree from LTC he became a supervisor. His most rewarding and last career was as a real estate agent/broker for Century 21, Concord Realty, Three Oaks Realty and finally Realty Executives where he managed the Sheboygan office until his health led to his retirement. During his real estate career Dale received the Sheboygan “Rookie of the Year” award in 1994 and was also named “Realtor of the Year” in 2009.

He was actively involved in volunteer work at Trinity Lutheran Church for many years serving as an elder, usher, member of the cemetery committee, Cub Scout leader, Sunday School teacher and Parent-Teacher League President with his wife, Barb, and for many years helped with the video/sound booth, recruiting his two sons to work along with him until they were able to do it on their own as well.

Dale’s community involvement included membership in the Sheboygan West Rotary Club. He delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and also managed one of the voting poll locations for several years. One of Dale’s most rewarding accomplishments was when he completed and graduated from the Sheboygan Citizen’s Police Academy.

He enjoyed TV shows, especially “oldies” and movies, genealogy, matchbook collecting and weather watching (he was a volunteer storm spotter).

He is survived by his wife, Barb; his two sons, Daniel J (Christianna H) Feld of Neenah, WI, Jonathan D (Kristen J) Feld and their two sons Walter and Jacob of Lindenhurst, IL; his mother, LaVonne of Sheboygan; three brothers, Jeff (Deb), Steve, and Craig, a sister Christy and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law David and Linda Schulz.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred, maternal grandparents Edward and Margaret Schulz, his paternal grandparents John Feld and Alita (Arvin) Kramer and his mother-in-law and father-in-law Richard and Marilyn Schulz. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family would like to thank the numerous caregivers and staff members at both the Pine Haven Giddings and Haven Drive campuses as well as Sharon S Richardson Hospice for the loving care they provided to Dale.
