Dale E. Pierce

Dale E. Pierce, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2025 at Care Partners in Manitowoc. He was born on October 29, 1935 in Sheboygan to the late Wilmer and Vera (Wendt) Pierce. Dale graduated from North High School.

Dale proudly served in the United States Navy as a corpsman at Camp Pendleton in San Diego. Dale married Mary Ann Brunnbauer in 1953 in San Diego. He worked as a health inspector for the City of Sheboygan for many years. Later in life he became a nurse and worked at Rocky Knoll.

Dale was an avid Packer fan. He spent many hours on the local lakes fishing with his children.

He is survived by his children, Debra (Dan) Esswein and David (Karin); three grandchildren, David, Dustin (Michell) and Danise Esswein; three great-grandchildren, Silas, Ashton and Aubrey Esswein; daughter-in-law Gail Pierce; brother-in-law Glenn Zonick; nephew Jeff and niece Kim.

Dale is preceded in death by his children, Phil Pierce and Alan Pierce; parents Wilmer and Vera Pierce and his sister Lynn Zonick.

All services will be private. Memorial contributions can be made in Dale’s honor to a charity of your choice.
