Dennis C. Voelker

Dennis C. Voelker, age 76, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. 

He was born in Sheboygan on August 7, 1949, to the late Elmer and Viola (Perronne) Voelker. Dennis was a graduate of North High School. From 1969 until 1975, Dennis proudly served his country in the United States Army. On May 3, 1975, Dennis was united in marriage to Kathleen Miskiewicz in Pennsylvania, where they lived and raised their two sons, Kevin and Eric, until relocating to Sheboygan in 2009. He was a longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. Dennis’s career started in the printing business while he was in the military, then he started his own home improvement business and successfully operated that until his retirement. After retirement, he worked several part-time jobs.

Dennis enjoyed woodworking and tending to his lawn which he took great pride in. He had a soft spot for his grandsons, whom he loved spending time with and showing them they way around the shop. A fond memory was the honor flight he was able to go on with his son Kevin. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; sons, Kevin and Eric (Sarah) Voelker; grandsons, Carson and Cody; brothers, Ronald, Gerald and Delbert; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

A Funeral Service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, April 6, 2026, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral & Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan, with Pastor Matthew Shive officiating. Family will greet visitors at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
