Donna M. Reinthaler

Donna M. Reinthaler, age 91, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10, 2026, at Sheboygan Progressive Health Service.

She was born in Mishicot on June 22, 1934 to the late Nicholas and Isabel (Funk) Jost. After graduation, Donna worked at Mirro Manufacturing until her marriage to Richard Reinthaler on August 30, 1958 at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Two Rivers. He preceded her in death on September 16, 2016, after spending 58 wonderful years together. Donna was a member of Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheboygan.

In her younger years, Donna enjoyed miniature bowling at both Northstar and Futzies. She also liked to cook and bake, but above all spending time with her precious granddaughter, Shannon, and family was the one thing she loved to do. She was a loving person who will be deeply missed.

Donna is survived by her children, Ann (Scott) Strysick and James Reinthaler; granddaughter, Shannon (fiancé Mike Bernier); great-granddaughters, Khloe Ann and Bailee Marie and a sister, Betty Bonk; nieces, nephews, other family and friends further survive.

Along with her parents and husband, Donna was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Debbie Ann Reinthaler and a brother-in-law, Robert Bonk.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donna’s name.

Following Donna’s wishes, cremation has place and she will be laid to rest next to Richard at Calvary Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the staff at both Sheboygan Progressive Health Services and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the excellent care shown to them and Donna.
