Evelyn A. Kress

Evelyn A. Kress, age 95, of Sheboygan passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

She was born in Sheboygan on August 22, 1930, to the late Max and Leola (Truttschel) Wolters Jr. Evelyn attended North High School. She worked at HC Prange company and Town of Sheboygan.

Evelyn enjoyed tending to her flower garden, knitting, and ceramics.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Dale Kress, and extended family.

Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents Max Wolters Jr. and Leola Wolters, her husband Ralph Kress, and her daughter Peggy Kress.

A Funeral Service for Evelyn will take place at 3:00 PM on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan. Family will greet visitors on Thursday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of the service. Evelyn will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation can be made in Evelyn's name to Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice, Sheboygan Health Services, and St. Nicholas Hospital for their care and attention to Evelyn.
