Heath Andrew Ellinger

Heath Andrew Ellinger, 51, of Sheboygan, passed away with family by his side on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Morningside Health Center in Sheboygan.  He was born May 24, 1972 in Sheboygan to the late Randall and Greta (Baumgart) Ellinger.  Heath attended James Madison Elementary School and graduated from the special needs education program at Sheboygan North High School.  

Heath lived for 30 years at New Horizons Group Home. He enjoyed the comradery and work he did at RCS and Reach Forward. Heath’s greatest strength was his sense of humor:   his infectious smile that would light up a room and he loved making people laugh.  He was an avid sports spectator and especially enjoyed cheering on the Brewers and Packers.  Other passions of Heath included listening to music, drawing and being outdoors. He was also a dog lover and cherished his time with his fury companion Inca.

Heath is survived by his sister Lisa (Terry) Sternard of Dover, TN, nieces Britni (Kamal Masri) Sternard and Tasha (Craig) Berry, great nephew Myles Masri and great niece Sophia Masri.  He is further survived by other relatives and friends.  Heath was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Heath’s Life will be held later this summer at Wildwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy of Southeastern Wisconsin, 6102 W. Layton Ave. Suite 112 Greenfield, WI 53220 in Heath’s name.
