Henry Schaub

Henry R. "Hank" Schaub, age 82, of Sheboygan, died Friday, February 17, 2017 in the loving care of the staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice surrounded by his family.
He was born August 11, 1934 in Sheboygan to Henry and Edna (Grupe) Schaub. He was a graduate of Sheboygan North High School, Class of 1952. He enlisted in the US Navy and served aboard the USS Herbert J. Thomas.
Hank was united in marriage to Lucia Kurtinitis on February 11, 1956 at St. Clement Catholic Church.
Hank was employed at Armira and later at Schreier Malting Co. He also owned a landscape gardening business. Following retirement, Hank worked with Lucia in the family business, Security Travel. Together they enjoyed hosting many cruises and traveling throughout the world, but their favorite destination was Jamaica. Lucia preceded him in death on August 6, 2008.
He is survived by four children, Susan (Frank) Molinaro and their children, Sam and Nico, Lisa (Dan) Elias and their children, Max, Alex, and Lucia "Lulu", Anna (John) Kuznacic and their children, Brad (Kasey), Chris, and Haley, John (Jessie) Schaub and their children, Gus and Ruby; a great-granddaughter, Charlize Kuznacic; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his sister, Virginia Kautzer.
Private family services will be held.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
Hank's family would like to extend their thanks to Dr. Louis Coulis as well as the entire staff at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for their compassionate care.
Hank was a man of few words, but his candor, wit, and generous spirit will be dearly missed by his loving family.
