James "Jim" M. Schultz

James M. “Jim” Schultz, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, January 7, 2023.  He was born August 24, 1933 in Sheboygan to the late Martin and Ruth (Altenbach) Schultz.  He graduated from North High School with the Class of 1952.

Following High School Jim drove truck for his father’s trucking company E & A. He later drove for Foreway, Clairmont, and retired from CF Trucking on June 30, 1991.

On July 14, 1962 he was united in marriage to Carmen Jane Kleine at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. They celebrated 57 years together, before her passing on August 18, 2019.

He had a strong faith and was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.

In his younger years Jim enjoyed playing softball with his brother and friends. He was known for his sense of humor and jokes. Jim enjoyed collecting model trains. He had an excellent memory and loved to spend time with family and friends.

Jim is survived by his brother Edward (Carol) Schultz, nephews Michael and Stephen Schultz, niece Julie Schultz and other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1810 N. 13th St. Sheboygan, with Rev. Alan Kretschmer officiating. Entombment will follow at Lutheran Cemetery. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the CHURCH.
