Jan E. Goldenbogen

Jan Elizabeth Ginsberg Goldenbogen, I was born February, 29, 1952. All my life I had great fun being a leap year baby. My parents were Helen and Tom Ginsberg of Oshkosh, WI. My dad shared with me his love of poetry, and my mom, her constant thoughtfulness. I had an older sister, Dale Ann, and a younger brother, Bill.

I graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. It was during those years that I met my husband, Roy. When we married in 1975, it was the beginning of our lifelong love affair. Our sons, Gabriel and Joseph were the greatest gifts of my life.

After I had life-saving surgeries in 2001, everyday was a bonus.
