Jesus S. Pena, age 68, of Sheboygan passed away surrounded by his loving family on April 15, 2022.
He was born in Loredo, TX to the late Jose and Hortencia (Flores) Pena Sr. He graduated high school and relocated to Sheboygan when he was 18. Jesus was a past member of the Moose Lodge. He was employed for 20 years at Mayline Industries and most recently at Kimco Facility Services.
Jesus was a baseball coach for Yankey Hill and also played softball for SSA for a few years. He also enjoyed shooting pool for Emmer’s, Suscha’s, and Mr. Glenn’s and occasionally shot darts. Family and friends meant everything to him, gathering for cookouts and watching his beloved Dallas Cowboys and Milwaukee Brewers. Watching westerns and listening to Elvis was also a favorite of Jesus’s.
Jesus is survived by his children, Jessica Pena, Jennifer (her fiancé) Pena and Antonio (Shannon) Pena; grandchildren, Neakco, Mina, Issah, Kera, step-grandchild Adrian, Alicia, Kymberli, Antonio, D’Angelo, Elijah, Somaya, Rosalina, Rhiannon, Austin, Amyas, Shyann, Keelie, Tallya, Manuel; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Jose Pena, Maria Estrada, Fenny Pena, Rosa Martinez, Rosario Sarabia, Juan Pena and Victor Pena; nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Jesus is preceded in death by 8 grandchildren and a brother Geraldo Pena.
A Funeral Service for Jesus will be held at 3:30 PM on Friday, April 22, 2022, at Zimmer Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center, W2132 Garton Road in Sheboygan with Father Sebastian Subi officiating. Family will greet visitors on Friday at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the time of service. A memorial fund has been established in Jesus’s name.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Memorial Medical Center for the excellent care given to Jesus. They would also like to thank family and friends for the support given in this difficult time.
