Julius Siech

Julius E. Siech, of Sheboygan, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 10, 2017 at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. He was 88 years old.
Julius was born September 16, 1928 in Gillett, the son of Carl and Marie (nee Greb) Siech. After school, Julius proudly served his country in the United States Army. On September 8, 1951, he was united in marriage to Virginia Schlegel. She preceded him in death in 2006.
For over 43 years, he was an employee at Kohler Company, where he was a proud member of the Quarter Century Club, and served as Vice President for the UAW Local #833.
Julius was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Sheboygan, and an active member of the Susha and Fale Conservation Club. An outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing and gardening. He was an avid football fan, especially the Packers, and enjoyed casino trips and reading. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family.
Julius is survived by three children: Rosalie (Mark) Bartzen, Rodney Siech and Barry Siech, all of Sheboygan and four grandchildren: Steven (Justine), Jeffrey (Paula), Jason and Jeremy Siech. He is further survived by 5 great-grandchildren, his brother Ewald Siech of Plymouth, sister-in-law Delores Duening of Sheboygan, other relatives and friends.
Julius is preceded in death by his wife Virginia, his daughter, Sherry L. Siech and his siblings: Edward, Herman, Rudolph, Henry, Marvin, Adolph "Buddy", Otto, Blanche Lockstein, Mary Walsh and Olga Krause.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. in Sheboygan. Rev. James Hartman will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Julius will be laid to rest beside Virginia at Lutheran Cemetery in Sheboygan.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
