Lana E. Lensink

Lana E. Lensink, 75, of Waldo passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at home surrounded by loving family. She was born May 30, 1950 in Sheboygan to the late Leroy and Evelyn Matzdorf. Lana graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1968.

On May 23, 1986, she was united in marriage to the love of her life Daniel "Dan" Lensink at Bethany Lutheran Church in Kohler.

Lana worked as waitress for 30 years, serving at BJ’s Family Restaurant, Hillfarm, and Gina’s Essen Haus. She also worked for Kwik Trip and Pick’n Save, retiring in 2015. After retirement, Lana’s last and favorite occupation was as a crossing guard for the Kohler school district.

Lana loved to host parties and was known for her cheesecakes. She enjoyed quality time with her family, neighbors, and friends. Trips to Shawano were always something she looked forward to.

Lana is survived by her children; Todd (Janel) Schlenther, Jeff Lensink, Tracy Schlenther, Lisa (Jack) Haartman, Dan (Karla) Lensink, Michelle (Tim) Renzelmann, Chad (Mary) Lensink, and, 13 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, brother Loren (Mary) Matzdorf, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband Daniel Lensink.

A Celebration of Lana's Life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Waldo Village Hall, 810 W. 2nd St, Waldo, WI 53093.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Lana's name.
