Loyce Klokow

Loyce KIokow, 72, of Howards Grove, passed away Monday, March 04, 2013 at St. Nicholas Hospital. Loyce was born January 30, 1941 in Nocona, TX, to the late Harvey and Charlotte (Carpenter) Thomas. On January 15, 1978, she married Robert Klokow at St. John, Schwarzwald. She loved children and ran an in-home daycare in Howards Grove for over 30 years. Loyce enjoyed her yearly visits to Texas to be with family. She enjoyed playing games, jigsaw puzzles and tending to her flower garden. She also taught Sunday School at St. John's. In addition to her husband, she is survived by five daugthers, Vicky (Randy) Meyer, Sheboygan, Kathy (Steve) Kieckhafer, Middleton, Christy Behrendt (Fiance Gene Spindler), Cleveland, Kristine (Mike) Williams, Howards Grove, Karla Phillips, Howards Grove; twelve grandchildren, Miranda (Nate) Schultz, Rachel Behrendt, Justin (Erin) Meyer, Abby Williams, Ryan Bender, Becky Behrendt, Charlotte Behrendt, Karlee Phillips, Chase Williams, Isabella Lopez, Elizabeth Lopez, Immanuel Lopez; three great grandchildren, Blake, Libby and Jameson; two brothers, Edward (Margaret) Thomas and Delmer Thomas, both of Texas; three sisters, Joyce Gordon, Erma (Donnie) Eldred and Carol Ashcraft, all of Texas; mother-in-law, Isabel Klokow. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant sister, Donna and her brother, Donald Thomas. A funeral service will be held for Loyce at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Zimmer's Westview Funeral and Cremation Care Center (Hwy 42 & JJ, Howards Grove) with the Rev. DuWayne Hanke officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Nocona, Texas. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Mancheski, the staff of St. Nicholas Hospital and the staff of St. Nicholas Hospice.
