Maggi Roblee, of Sheboygan, passed away Thursday May 27, 2021, at Sheboygan Health Services. Maggi, 74, is now reunited with her husband, Dr. John J. Roblee, who passed in 2019. She was born April 8, 1947, in Sheboygan to the late John J. and Evelyn M. Bushner (nee Goll). She attended St. Peter Claver grade school and was a 1965 graduate of Sheboygan South High School. On June 14, 1969, she was united in marriage with John J. Roblee at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan. Maggi had formal training in dental assisting and helped manage the Roblee dental office until 2016.

Maggi was passionate about genealogical research and instrumental in the early precursors of the Sheboygan County Historical Research Center in Sheboygan Falls. For many years, she compiled copies of ancestral photos, stories, and recipes for the extended family each Christmas. She enjoyed needlepoint, creating many special baby blankets and Christmas tree skirts for births and weddings of loved ones. Maggi was a voracious reader, particularly mysteries and biographies. She was also known for her long, handwritten letters and cards to keep in touch with family and friends.

Survivors include her son John D. “Jack” Roblee of Sheboygan and daughter Ellen (the late Scott) Carrlee of Juneau, grandson Carson Carrlee of Juneau, AK, and brother John C. (Beverly) Bushner of Howard’s Grove. She is further survived by John and Beverly’s children Cindy (Lee) Luecke, Lynn (Dave) Serebin, Jenny (Jim) Schmitt, and John J. II (Michelle) as well as her brothers-in-law Paul (Ruth) Roblee and Clifford (Joanne) Roblee. She was preceded in death by her parents John and Evelyn Busher, in-laws Dr. Douglas and Marilyn Roblee, and sister-in-law Dr. Kathleen Roblee.
