Marilyn Schulz

Marilyn A. Schulz, 89, of Sheboygan, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Pine Haven Christian Home in Sheboygan Falls. She was born September 3, 1927 in Sheboygan to William and Edna (Widder) Doege. She attended local public schools and graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1945. Marilyn then went on to the School of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois receiving her RN degree in 1948. On August 12, 1950 Marilyn was united in marriage to Richard Schulz at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Marilyn was a nurse at Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Hospital for 15 years, and then went on to work for Dr. B Marsho's office for 23 years retiring in 1986. She was a former member of Shoreline Woman's Club, and a longtime member of the Trinity Altar Guild. Marilyn was very talented and enjoyed sewing and knitting. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be deeply missed, but will always be in our hearts.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard, by her son David (Linda) Schulz, and daughter Barbara (Dale) Feld, her grandchildren; Laura (Brad) Wexler, Julie Moyer, Daniel (Christianna) Feld and Jonathan (Kristen) Feld, by her great-grandson Tanner Moyer, brothers-in-law Paul Schulz, Karl (Mary) Schulz, and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Doris Juul, and by her grandson-in-law Ryan Moyer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 11:30 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave. Sheboygan, with Pastor Timothy Mech officiating. Inurnment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery at a later date. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 9:30 AM until the time of service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lutheran High School in Marilyn's name.
