Marvin J. Reineking

Marvin James Reineking, age 83, of Sheboygan, died on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at Dimensions Living under the care of Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in Sheboygan on April 3, 1942, the son of the late William and Meta Neuhaus Reineking. 

Marvin attended Central High School in Sheboygan and graduated in 1960. As a teenager he would spend his mornings at the Sheboygan Quarry and really enjoyed his job at The Flamingo Club. Marvin was working at Jung’s Shoe Factory where he met Nancy Plumb. On September 19, 1964 he was united in marriage to Nancy Sue Plumb in Waukegan, IL.

He was employed by Kohler Company most of his working life and was a member of the Quarter Century Club in which he had many good friends. Marvin enjoyed golfing, bowling, dartball, and casinos. He also was an avid Brewers and Packers fan and enjoyed attending Brewer games with his family. 

Survivors include three children, David Reineking, Kevin (Socheata) Reineking, Stacy Joaquin (Jeffrey Vogt), and former son-in-law Paul Joaquin, all of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Daniel Reineking, Selina Reineking, Emma (Justice) Reith, Bela Reineking, and Tessa Reineking; one step grandchild Chiev Chay Rith ; one great-grandchild Harper Reith, two brothers, Henry and Vernon (Maria) Reineking; and ex-wife Nancy Glenzer. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, brothers William, Melvin, Raymond, Lester, Robert, and Gilbert, a sister, Dorothy Bruesewitz and his daughter Nikki Sue. 

Visitation will be Monday, June 30th from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Ballhorn Chapels, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan. Service will be at 12:00pm. For those who would like to watch Marvin's service virtually can do so on his obituary page on the funeral home website.
