Nicole Christine (Wuestenhagen) Brasser, age 34, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 17, 2025. She was born in Sheboygan on April 4, 1991, to Christine Koenig and Dale Wuestenhagen. She was a 2013 graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and a 2021 graduate of Marquette University with an MBA. On September 21, 2019, she married the love of her life, Bradley Brasser, at Wild Eagle Lodge in Eagle River.
While her years were too few, Nicole made the most of them, filling them–and the lives of others–with light and laughter. She had an infectious smile, a laugh that lit up the room, and a magnetic energy that drew people in. Nicole never met a stranger—she had an incredible gift for making others feel welcome, seen, and included. She formed deep, lasting friendships everywhere she went. Nicole had a serious case of FOMO and was always one of the last to leave, making memories and sharing laughs until the very end of the night. That same warmth and charisma carried her through a successful career at Acuity Insurance, where she not only thrived professionally but also built cherished friendships across the company and the industry. Nicole will be deeply missed by her family, countless friends, and coworkers who were lucky enough to know her.
Nicole is survived by her husband Bradley, her parents Christine Koenig and Dale (Jean) Wuestenhagen, her brother Joseph (Michelle) Wuestenhagen and their children Holden, Mila, and Laena, step-brothers Chad Hirsch and Joey Grunewald, and his child Lana, paternal grandfather Gordon Wuestenhagen, her parents-in-law Gregory and Jill Brasser, brother-in-law Michael (Stephanie) Brasser and their children Evie and Harper, and sister-in-law Cortney (Colin) Coulson and their children Henry and Freya, her aunts and uncles Mark (Debbie) Koenig, Mike (Loni) Koenig, Bob (Judy) Koenig, Joe (Connie) Koenig, Kerry (Larry) Chapman, and Cindy (Larry) Meyer, countless cousins, best friend Erin Vreeke, and her dog Maddie.
Nicole is preceded in death by her brother Matthew Jon Wuestenhagen, paternal grandparents June (Al) Erickson and step grandmother Rosie Wuestenhagen, maternal grandparents Robert “Babe” (Joan) Koenig, her uncle and aunt Ernst and Connie Wuestenhagen, and uncle Steve Schmidt.
