Patricia B. Palm

September 12, 1953 — January 7, 2026

Sheboygan

With Jesus beautifully orchestrating each moment, Patricia B. Palm, age 72, of Sheboygan was peacefully called home by her Savior on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

She was born in Sheboygan on September 12, 1953, to the late James and Kathryn (Brown) Earl. From little on, she was small but had a big presence in the lives of those surrounding her. A caregiver from day one, always concerned more with the comfort of those around her than herself. She held many different titles throughout her life, including wife, mother, CNA, Hospice volunteer, caregiver, friend, laborer and most importantly – faithful servant of the Lord.

In 1973, she found out what she was exceptional at and welcomed Jason Matthew Krase, who made her a mama.

On February 14, 1982, she was united in marriage to Robert Palm. They would have celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary this year. Then in 1983, right after the last episode of MASH, she welcomed Jessica Lynn and faithfully cared for her until the last year of her life, when Jes finally got to take care of her while she still demanded to do things on her own.

She attended Oostburg High School, where she met her “club” girls who she faithfully met with each month since high school. She had a very open home and spent many, many days and nights hosting friends for coffee over the years. She had the gift of being willing to open her home to anyone that needed it until she moved closer to her daughter and grandkids. Then she made sure Jes’ table (and house) was clean enough to host.

Patty was a member of Christ Community Church in Sheboygan, where she spent many Sundays’ worshipping with her family. She prayed faithfully with her sisters in Christ, until she needed them to pray for her more – which they faithfully did.

In addition to her husband, Bob, she is survived by her son, Jason (Kristi) Krase of Sheboygan and daughter, Jessica (Joe) Vanderpuy of Sheboygan. She also leaves a legacy of faith for her pride and joy’s – her grandkids; Soren, Alyson, Evelyn, Charis and Anjuli Vanderpuy. She is further survived by her sister, Marian (Clifford) Schmidt and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Along with her parents and parents in law, Patty was preceded in death by her sisters, Virginia (Ginger) Akright and Jean (Bunny) Barchacky; sister-in-law, Jayne List and grandson, Joseph Robert (Joey) Vanderpuy.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17th at 11 am at Christ Community Church, 428 Geele Ave. with Pastor Josh Van Engen officiating. There will be a time to enjoy a good cup of coffee with the family from 9:30 am until the time of service. Please join us for a time of worship and remembrance. Patty’s service will be livestreamed and available on the Christ Community Church website. (christcommunitysheboygan.org)

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Patty’s name. The family would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone that loved and cared for her through her life and cancer journey. The staff at the Vince Lombardi cancer clinic, Dr. Nick, you will hold a special place in our hearts as well as Shannon and everyone else. The staff at Aurora, especially all her girls on the Med Surge floors – there are too many of you to name. Sharon Richardson hospice – Nat, you know we’re grateful.

Jes would like to say, with overwhelming gratitude – thank you to everyone that walked this journey with mom and my family. I hope you saw Jesus in every step.
