Patricia "Pat" Jean Aldag

June 6, 1937 — December 12, 2025

Sheboygan

Patricia “Pat” Jean Aldag, 88, passed away peacefully December 12th, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to our precious mother, affectionately known as “Queen Mum”, grandmother and friend.

Pat was born in 1937 in Sheboygan, WI, to Gottlieb and Alvina Schmidt. She graduated from North High School and started her family soon thereafter.

Pat married Jerome Aldag in 1970, creating a blended family of eight children, treating each one as her own, helping them all achieve their aspirations in life. The family spent many years skiing at their “Ski Haus” at Powder Horn Mountain, MI, teaching the kids their love of skiing. When Pat met Jerry, he was an avid sailor, and their first Sailboat was called "True Love"! They had many boats over the years and loved Door County spending many years in Fish Creek. They eventually settled in Sturgeon Bay, where they had a home and kept their boats. It was a family retreat, where many of the children and grandchildren could enjoy together and share their love for the water.

Pat and Jerry traveled the world and loved to entertain family. They especially loved spending time with her sister-in-law “Sissy” Sylvia Siefert and brother-in-law Charlie Siefert sipping on Manhattans and enjoying gourmet food. Family days were set for Sunday night when Jerry would roast whole chickens over an applewood fire, always done to perfection! Her life was dedicated to her children, grandchildren, and family. Pat had one incredible zest for life! She also loved animals of any kind. She had many dogs and cats over the years, adopting multiple pets from the Humane Society.

Pat had a very dear personal caregiver, Char Rodich, who has become part of our family while assisting Pat for the last ten years. The family cannot thank her enough for the wonderful care and love she has provided to Pat and our family over the years.

Pat was an extraordinary woman, always positive, full of energy and truly fun to be around. Being with her was never dull. She made everything better, and every room brighter just by being there, always singing a tune. We are so lucky to have had her as our mother, and she will be deeply missed.

Patricia is survived by her six children Terri (Kevin) Stewart , Tammi Dvorak, Chris (Tanya) Aldag, Tim Aldag, Jessica (Daniel) Hernandez, Heidi (James) Testwuide, and grandchildren Natalie, Lindsey, Taryn, Ryan, Amanda, Marlo, Jamie, Stephanie, Carley, Zachary, Jacob, Eva, Olivia, Alexandria, great grandchildren , Eliana, Siena, Mira, Max, Hayden, Scarlett, Charlie, William, Grace, Lila, Kendall, Lylah

She was preceded in death by her husband Jerome, and son Todd J Hill.

All services will be private.

A memorial fund has been established in her name for the Sheboygan County Humane Society to honor Pat’s love of animals.
