Richard Dennis Sorenson

Richard Dennis Sorenson, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born on May 20, 1941 in Sheboygan to the late Herb and Myrtle (Sauer) Sorenson. On December 1, 1962, he was united in marriage to Anne Kohli in Sheboygan. Together they raised three children, Kelly, Bobbi and Jodi.

Richard worked for many years as a Research Developer at Haysen Manufacturing and PCMC in Green Bay. Following retirement, he and Anne loved spending time with their family, especially their grandson Logan. Richard was also a Packers, Badgers and Brewers fan. He played many years of softball and volleyball, and also enjoyed motorsports. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Richard is survived by his daughters Jodi Sorenson and Bobbi Knapp, and his grandson Logan Knapp. He is further survived by his brothers Paul and Mike Sorenson.

In addition to his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his wife, Anne, his daughter Kelly Sorenson, and his siblings Herb Sorenson, Jr., Susie Sorenson, and Sally Levitt.

All services will be private. Richard will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Kohler.
