Ryan D. Matzdorf, age 46, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.

He was born in Sheboygan on March 22, 1975. He graduated from North High School.  Ryan was very proud of his two gold medals that he won from the Special Olympics games.

He loved cats and dogs, going to the park to feed the ducks, listening to music, eating pizza and warmed up ice cream and collecting stuffed animals.

Ryan is survived by his father Donald (Marie Wolf) Matzdorf; brother Shawn (Misty) Matzdorf and their children Nolan and Samantha; Maries children, Becky (Russell) Barlow and Ryan (Stacey) Wolf and their children Corbin, Owen, and Ethan; aunts and uncles, Felix Jr. Joe, Darwin, Mary, Lori, Beth and special aunty Shirley and all of their children.

He was preceded in death by his mother Joanne; both grandparents, Felix and Mary and Rhoda and Gordie and his aunty Emmy.

A Celebration of Life for Ryan will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N 8th St. in Sheboygan.  Friends and family are welcome to visit and share loving stories of Ryan from NOON until 2:00 PM. Ryan will be laid to rest at Greendale Cemetery after the celebration.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Ryan’s name.

Ryan’s family would like to thank the staff at, St. Luke’s in Milwaukee, All Saints Hospital in Racine, and the four group homes he lived at for the amazing care and love that was shown to Ryan.
