Scott David Engel

Scott David Engel, 61, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2023. Born on October 17, 1961 to the late Kenneth and Ruth (Neuwirth) Engel in Sheboygan.

Scott enjoyed his time at RCS for many years. He enjoyed arts & crafts, writing and drawing. Watching the Packers and All-Star wrestling were  favorite pastimes of his as well. He also enjoyed attending Camp Evergreen. Scott would be described as “a polite bubble of sunshine” lighting up those he came in contact with.

He is survived by his brothers Larry (Linda) Engel, Tim Engel and Brian (Mary) Engel; many nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law Terry VanAkkeren. He will be truly missed.

Preceded in death by his parents and sisters Kristine Engel and Peggy VanAkkeren.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the staff at Sharon Richardson Hospice for their compassion and care of Scott.

All services are private. He will be laid to rest at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Kohler.
