Sharon Blum

Sharon L. Blum (nee Rawling) of Sheboygan passed away Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center in Grafton accompanied by her family and friends. She was 67 years old.

Sharon was born August 24, 1950 in Sheboygan, the daughter of Allen and Vernetta (nee Neese) Rawling. She graduated from Sheboygan North High School in 1968. For many years, she worked as a retail manager in the Sheboygan area. On December 26, 1987, she was united in marriage with Jeffery Blum at St. John's UCC in Sheboygan.

An avid animal lover, Sharon always had a pet dog at home. She enjoyed playing cribbage, collecting monkeys, trips to Oneida, Brewer games, and visiting the family cabin in Butternut. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family.

Sharon is survived by her husband Jeff and her children: Daniel (Marcia) Oglan of Gibsonia, PA, and Brian Oglan and Jessica Oglan, both of Sheboygan. She is further survived by her step-children: Tami (Chuck) Hendrickson of Muscoda, Tracy (Brian) Taubenheim of Durham, NC and Tanya (Shad) TenPas of Sheboygan Falls; grandchildren: Caden, Kaylee, Jonah, Devin, Chase, Josh, Tyler, Jacob, Jade, Jared, Justin and Jonah; great-grandchild Heidi, sister Nancy Haynes of Pittsburgh, PA, sisters and brothers -in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Thomas Rawling.

A Memorial Service celebrating Sharon's life will be held at 5:00 PM on Friday, July 6, 2018 at Ballhorn Chapels Funeral and Cremation Care Center, 1201 N. 8th St. in Sheboygan. Rev. Dr. Roger Mealiff will officiate. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Friday from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Sharon will be laid to rest at Wildwood Cemetery in Sheboygan.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center.
