Shireen A. Kempf

Shireen A. Kempf, 73, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at home. Shireen was born on September 18, 1952, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, to the late Charles Waste and Doris (Hatleli) Pizzala. She was raised in Waukegan, Illinois, before moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at the age of 19.

Shireen worked in a variety of roles throughout her career and retired from Vollrath Co., LLC, in 2014. She enjoyed attending concerts, playing bingo, bartending, traveling, and most of all, spoiling her grandchildren, as well as a niece and nephew, who held a very special place in her heart.

Shireen is survived by her two children, Brandy (Curt) Thomas and Russell (Ashley) Thomas; five grandchildren, Arianna MacKenzie Thomas, Alivia AnnDee Thomas, Russell Delbert Thomas IV, Rylan Dean Thomas and Roman Del Thomas; her sister and best friend Dawn (Mark) Polacek; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Waste and Doris Pizzala and nephew Steven Corey Gonzalez.

A Celebration of Life for Shireen will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at J&J's Hotspot, 1823 N 12th St, Sheboygan, WI 53081.
