Timothy D. Haneman

August 7, 1956 — August 13, 2025

Sheboygan

Timothy D. Haneman, 69, of Sheboygan, met his creator on August 13, 2025. Tim was born to the late Sylvia (Tevsh) Haneman, on August 7, 1956. Sylvia preceded him in death on September 2nd 2023.

Tim graduated from South High School in 1976. Throughout his life Tim was employed at Poth Food Market, Sheboygan Paint Co., V.P.I. and Kohler

At some point he also operated his own Tavern Establishment on North 15th and Geele, called Zebco’s, (the old Weiss’s bar).

At a young age he inherited the nickname Zebco, after the Zebco fishing reel and rods. He had a passion for being out on the water with a rod in hand. Recalling a story about being out on Lake Michigan with a good friend, when along came a Seagal and dropped something on his friends' head! (You know who you are.) Many good laughs were had! Tim also was an excellent cook and baker and loved to grill out. Of course, cooking for one never happened, instead he cooked for at least eight. He shared his culinary concoctions with anyone who wanted a great meal or dessert. He truly missed his calling, and should have been a chef. Tim also was a bit of a handyman. Knowing how to do many things quite well and other times it was not a hit, but rather a miss! Sorry Tim, we had to be truthful.

Tim appreciated his good friends: Mike Casper, Chris Ross, Linda R. Vansluys, Reverend Pastor Mike, Karen and Wendy and the late: Janice Kohls and Joe Tomazek. Also, his good friend and nurse Cathy Keefe. You were his angel. Thank you for his great care!

Tim is survived by his three siblings: David (Hondo), Tom, and Mary (Bob Eggert). Also, his four children: Brad, Brooke, Chris (Jordyn) and Stephanie (Connor Moriarty). His loving grandchildren: Ian, Chase, Wade, Grace, Noah, Marie, and one more on the way. They filled Tim's heart with joy and love!

The last year of your life you showed great resilience. You were courageous and strong and always still shared your smile and sense of humor.

Your time from now on will be rod in hand, catching many great fish in God's Kingdom.

So, for now dear Tim: Isaiah 60:1 - Arise; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

A private funeral is planned and a celebration of life to be announced.
