Donald Mohr, 82, of Elkhart Lake, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility. He was born April 13, 1930 in Plymouth to the late George and Meta (Kaufman) Mohr. Donald served his country in the United States Army. On November 7, 1959 he married the former Marlene Foell in Milwaukee. In 1969, along with his colleagues, he founded Aero-Metric Engineering in Sheboygan. After 21 years, he retired in 1990. Donald continued to enjoy fishing, snowmobiling and golfing. In addition to his wife, Marlene, he is survived by two sons, Mark (Shawna) Mohr, Crystal Lake, IL and Ross (Leslie) Mohr, Hermosa Beach, CA; four grandchildren, Nichole and Mitchell Mohr and Jack and Ava Mohr; one sister-in-law, Eleanor Mohr. He is further survived by nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harold. A memorial service for Donald will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Saron United Church of Christ (W3830 CTH J, Sheboygan Falls) with the Rev. Kathryn Kuhn officiating. Friends may call Sunday, at the church, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Donald's name for Saron United Church of Christ and Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility and Sharon S. Richardson Hospice for their care and kindness to both Donald and Marlene.
